The journey of writing Shri Hanuman Charit Manas

The book, Shri Hanuman Charit Manas is presented in seven chapters – Vandna-Kand, Bal-Kand, Kiskindha-Kand, Sundar-Kand, Vijay-Kand, Uttar-Kand and Ttam-Kand, respectively. It comprises 1025 A4-sized pages having 11 multicoloured and 3 black and white photographs of Lord Hanuman Jee. The remarkable feature of the book is that it is written in contemporary simple Hindi as compared to Balimiki Ramayan, which is in Sanskrit and Shri-Ram-Charit-Manas, which is in typical Avadhi-dominated language. However, the poetic pattern of Shree Hanuman Charit Manas is same as that of Shri-Ram-Charit-Manas.

The book is an unprecedented, unique, distinct and religiously spiritual scripture, which attempts not only to encompass a little bit known biography of Infinite Lord Shri Hanuman Jee but also deals broadly with the most prominent contemporary issues like thought-power, thought-pollution and corruption in its entirety.

The book is written by Kailash Chandra Sharma, who has been a devotee of Shri Hanuman Jee since the age of 8. When he was around eight years of age, he used to visit the nearest temple of Lord Hanuman Jee on every Tuesday and Saturday just to enjoy the ‘Prasad’ which was distributed by some devotees there. Gradually, he started participation in beating the ‘Nagara’ (drum) during the ‘Aarti’ of Lord Hanuman Jee. Later on, his interest moved towards Shri Hanuman Chalisa, Hanuman Bahuk and Sundarkand of Shri Ram Charit Manas, respectively. By the end of his graduation in 1978, he could recite the entire Ram Charit Manas without referring to the book. His father assigned him the duty to perform morning and evening prayers of Lord Hanuman Jee at his farmhouse. Subsequently, an inner strength and confidence started gathering momentum in his individuality sub-consciously, which ensured efficiency, speed, activeness, perfection and sense of accomplishment in his every assignment and activity. When he was in late forties, he was got attracted towards Vedanta. Then, he felt assured that Lord Hanuman Jee would certainly bless him further with ‘Jeevan Mukti’ on one day or the other. It was due to multidimensional gratitude that I started writing the book, Shri Hanuman Charit Manas.

The book is published by Global Philosophy Trust, which is basically dedicated to the ultimate harmony for peace and happiness of mankind through spreading globally acceptable spiritual and philosophical knowledge. The trust conceives, formulates and implements all such action plans that are aimed to eliminate all sorts of corruption.
